The Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k Race Awards
Whether you’re looking to win it just looking for some fun, the Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k in Asheville, North Carolina have awards to help you celebrate you’re achievement.
HALF MARATHON AWARDS
Top 3, Top Masters (40+), Top Grand Masters (50+) Male & Female will receive custom etched Oktoberfest Beer Stein. These categories will also win a gift certificate to Jus’ Running in the following amounts:
1st place – $50 2nd place – $40 3rd place – $35 Masters/Grandmasters – $30
Age Group Awards | Awards will go to the top three finishers in the each of the following age divisions.
19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up!
5K AWARDS

ALL FINISHERS RECEIVE A CUSTOM MEDAL
M.O.P. AWARDS
The Middle of the Pack “MOP” for each race will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to Second Gear Outdoor Store! The MOP is the runner that finishes, smack dab in the middle of the race field. Finish number is depending on how many runners start the race.
COSTUME AWARDS
The top 6 costumed runners in either race will receive a $25 gift certificate from Second Gear Outdoor Store! These will be picked by us and are up to event team judgement!
