RACE INFORMATION

The Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k  will start and finish at the Hi Wire River Arts District Beer Garden on Sept 30, 2023.

The Half Marathon will begin at 7:30AM, leaving the brewery and heading along the French Broad River. This course is almost all on paved roads with approximately 1 mile of dirt path. There is a 3 hour time limit for course aid for the Half Marathon. We will continue to time runners until everyone is in. Runners will receive a race t-shirt, custom bib, chip timed race, Hi-Wire beer and finisher medal in registration. No strollers or dogs allowed in this race.

The 5k starts at 7:45AM and is almost fully on the River Arts District greenway. Runners will receive a race t-shirt, custom bib, chip timed race, Hi-Wire beer and finisher medal in registration. Strollers and dogs are allowed, but must start in the back of the group.
