Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k Non-Profit Partner Opportunity

Kick It Event Management and the Oktoberfest Half Marathon is proud to support the following area nonprofits with this event.

The race organizers live in the Asheville community and are excited to be able to support these hard working nonprofit organizations. Take a minute to thank the half marathon and 5k volunteers that are donating their time for one of our partner non-profit organizations.

We need your help!

We couldn’t do it without the help of our community and we are super excited this year to be giving back to amazing non-profits that make up the city we live in.

Sign up to be your volunteer group lead and gather your volunteers to help us out for a donation. Please be aware that by signing up here YOU are in charge of gathering the number of volunteers listed and getting the information we give you to them. Donations vary based on the amount of people and time needed.

Choose from these different jobs and let us know how you can help!

Packet Pick Up – handing out race bibs, t-shirts etc

Finish Line – Setting up post race water and handing out finisher medals etc.

Course Marshals – Helping to keep runners on the course and stop traffic if needed as runners are passing. MUST BE 18 or OLDER.

Aid Stations – Setting up and handing out water, Gatorade, bananas etc. (all supplies provided)
