Join us for the thrilling Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k event on September 28, 2024, commencing and culminating at the renowned Hi Wire River Arts District Beer Garden.

The Half Marathon kicks off at 7:30AM, embarking from the brewery and tracing a scenic route along the enchanting French Broad River. This predominantly paved course features a charming 1-mile stretch on a dirt path, ensuring a diverse and captivating running experience. Rest assured, we offer excellent course aid within a generous 3-hour time limit for the Half Marathon, diligently timing every participant until the last one crosses the finish line. As part of your registration, you’ll receive fantastic perks, including a stylish race t-shirt, a personalized custom bib, chip-timed tracking, a refreshing Hi-Wire beer, and a coveted finisher medal.

Please note that the Half Marathon does not permit strollers or dogs on the course.

For those seeking a slightly shorter challenge, the 5k race commences at 7:45AM and primarily unfolds along the scenic River Arts District greenway. As with the Half Marathon, participants in the 5k will also enjoy a range of fabulous benefits, such as a trendy race t-shirt, a personalized custom bib, chip-timed tracking, a refreshing Hi-Wire beer, and an impressive finisher medal.

Unlike the Half Marathon, the 5k warmly welcomes strollers and dogs, with the request that they start at the back of the running group.
